Know thy innovation funnel
Measure what matters.

How many ideas are you working on? How many have you invested in? How long, on average, does it take to develop the idea? What is the percentage of terminated ideas? How many have been stopped by the innovator themselves? How many ideas are in each stage of your funnel? What is the pass-through percentage? What is the average cost of developing an idea in each of your funnel stages? What is the risk profile of your innovation funnel? What is the innovation ambition distribution of your ideas?
All of the above can be answered by studying your innovation funnel data. And by answering them you will be able to refine and improve your innovation management processes, increasing overall innovation ROI.
