Force multiplier

Focus and alignment are a force multiplier in any stage of the innovation process. Really, there is no stage where lack of focus and pulling in different directions than agreed on will be beneficial. Conversely, pausing to re-focus and re-align is nearly always a good investment of time and attention. As long as it is not used as an excuse to avoid doing the difficult thing.
