Do the work.

Innovation is hard work. There are no short cuts. It takes time and effort. The best path forward is rarely obvious. Others can't innovate for you. First-hand data still reigns supreme. Organisational alignment cannot be ignored. Value must be confirmed. Value must be made explicit. Value must be communicated. Innovation demands sustained engagement, repeated efforts, and full-blown commitment. It seldomly rewards laziness.
