On Good Starts
Modern business language is full of "closing," "ending," "finishing," "defining done," so on and so forth. And while completing or abandoning work is important, I find it more appropriate to write about starting—given that this will be the first newsletter of the year.
Common advice is to "just start." After all, once something is on the way, as everyday wisdom goes, then it is much easier to continue. Truthfulness of that mostly depends on what you consider "starting."
