Chasing illusions

The business world is chock full of mirages, Fata Morganas, illusions, deceptions, and façades. Promises of magnificent results, spectacular outcomes, incredible value, and what not.

I cannot even fathom how one could navigate such space without a healthy dose of scepticism and humour. The former to find the naked truth, and the latter to avoid getting depressed or burned out from all the nonsense and malarkey.

Increased skill and expertise bring certain clarity and ability to see through the façade, but still, in an ideal world things would be exactly as they seem. Alas, it isn't so, therefore buyer beware—always.
