Becoming "data-driven" does not mean switching exclusively to spreadsheets, large tables, and algorithms when it comes to decision making.

No, it is about acknowledging the astounding wealth of data we are surrounded with and figuring out what is useful for the issue at hand.

And yes, so-called gut feeling or intuition is data as well. Our bodies are fascinating sensory and sense-making devices that most of us are ill equipped to listen to.

Combining all these together to make the best possible decision in the moment is what "data-driven" is about.
