In charge

Outcome of innovation projects is uncertain. We can do everything right and still fail to produce desired results. But that doesn't mean we should give up on controlling the elements we are in charge of: the inputs.

Think people, practices, processes, and other resources. We are completely in charge of that. We define targets, we pick ideas to work on and with, we make plans and execute them... Once you scratch the surface you will quickly find many, many elements within your control. Use that insight to your advantage.
