The power of community

Finding a group of peers where there is trust and mutual respect may be all you need to keep your goals in sight. Just hearing from someone who recognizes your struggles, challenges, and frustrations is invaluable. Working together on specific issues is only an added bonus!

Organizations, associations, trade unions, and local meetups are good places to look for interesting peer groups. Join a few meetings and see if it is a good fit. Remember that you can always start a small group in your own community as well. All you need is to reach out and listen.
