Make sure to use verbs when setting your objectives, e.g.:

  • Increase revenue from product line A by 30% in 3 years.
  • Reduce time-to-market by 50% in 3 years.
  • Double the profit margin of service B in 3 years.

Congratulations, now you have useful objectives.
