Innovation is not easy. It is often thankless work with near invisible results until the very end. It requires will, perseverance, grit, and tenacity. It demands commitment to achieving outcomes, to perfection, to creating value having to doing better, to continuous betterment. It demands commitment in the face of uncertainty, and comes with a high cost. But the thrill of innovating, of birthing something so valuable it outlives its creators, is unparalleled.
